    Democratic Dinner - May 7, 2010

Every year, the biggest event for Democrats in Santa Clara County is the Democratic Dinner. This year our dinner will be on Friday, May 7, at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose. Join over 500 fellow Democrats in celebration of our past success and in preparation for the hard work ahead in the crucial 2010 elections. This year, California must elect a Democratic Governor and reelect Barbara Boxer to the US Senate.

Final Countdown to Health Care Reform

President Obama and Congressional leaders are working toward a final vote on historic and much needed health care reform. A vote might be just one week away. As a result, the forces of the status quo, led by insurance companies, are gearing up for one final attempt to block reform in order to protect their huge profits.

It is important that we continue to make sure the facts on health care reform are spread throughout our communities. This will help Congress understand that we support them in their efforts to make health care more accessible and affordable. Get the facts on health care reform and download flyers to share with your friends, coworkers, and neighbors. There is information there about the President's Plan and also details about the Costs of Inaction.
