LGBT Club Anniversary barbeque

You and all Democratic activists are cordially invited to come celebrate the first year anniversary of the Silicon Valley LGBT Democratic Club. Come help our newest Democratic Club kick-off Gay Pride Month. Let's show our LGBT Democrats how much we love and care for the values we all share. This is an outdoor event and barbecue on SUNDAY, JUNE 5th, 2005 from 1 to 5 pm, at Doug Winslow's phenomenal animal sanctuary on gorgeous Skyline Boulevard.

Come visit and picnic with some phenomenal lesbian women, gay men, bisexual and transgender people… and their many, many friends. The guest list already includes elected officials, dozens of Democratic activists and political animals of all stripes! Be sure to bring your camera and enough kids to fill up an ark! Dress so you can mingle and play with the zebras, camels, horses, llamas, ostriches, emu and everyone's favorite little Democratic donkeys: "Thurber" and "Madge."

Over 175 ornamental birds and animals live happily together on this spacious 40-acre mountain-top overlooking the Santa Cruz Mountains and the Pacific Coast. The gorgeous birds include parrots, peacocks, guinea fowl, rare white 'Silkie' chickens and many species of ornamental pheasants. Doug's fun farm full of friendly and exotic animals has been featured recently on "Bay Area Backroads," "Evening Magazine" and the Discovery Home & Leisure Channel.

You do not need to rush out and become L, G, B or T to attend this celebration of our Democratic values. You just need to be tolerant and loving of the beautiful rainbow of people that make our local Democratic Party and this new LGBT Democratic Club so unbelievably strong.

LGBT Dem Club members and their family units come for free. Membership is $20/year. Please join the club or consider donating this amount to help sponsor the good work and political activism of the Silicon Valley LGBT Democratic Club. You can join the club and/or donate on-line at lgbtdems.org.

Precise directions will be sent to you once you RSVP to this fun event. It is located only 13 miles above the town of Saratoga. Please attend. Feel free to forward this invitation and do bring a car load of friends.
