It is that time again! We will have another Saturday morning Call to Action Meeting on March 27th from 9am-12noon, in the cafeteria of the County Building, 70 W. Hedding St., San Jose. The main focus of this meeting will be to unite all of the county campaign activities over the next 8 months. During the primaries, all of the local and national candidates had stellar volunteers. The Call to Action committees invite all of these dedicated volunteers to join our efforts in defeating Bush and re-electing Boxer. As a united campaign, we will create the most effective California force to take back the White House, the Senate, the Congress, and keep our local Democratic seats.
We usually have a crowd of at least 100 local activists at these meetings. We will hear from elected officials about the current environment around their office, will hear about the exciting things each committee has accomplished thus far, and will break into committee groups to work on our next steps. Additionally, you will learn about the big Democratic action we have planned for April 15th.
Please join us for this exciting morning of activism. And, don't worry if you are a new volunteer and have not participated in the Call to Action activities thus far; we will have an introductory section to bring you up to speed. You will have a great opportunity to participate and add your own creativity, talent, time and energy into really making California the leader in reclaiming our country.
