Anti-Recall Phone Banking

Phone banking will occur Monday- Thursday night and Sunday at the Labor Council until October 7th. The phone banks are computerized, making calling much easier as the computer dials the number for you and displays an easy to follow script. Please help call registered voters to inform them why they should vote against the recall!

Don’t worry if you have not done any phone banking before, there will be a brief training before the calling begins.

Callers will meet at the Labor Council at 2102 Almaden Road in San Jose.

The shifts are from 5:30-8:30pm Monday-Thursday and Sundays from 3-8:30pm. Meals will be provided.

Tapestry and Talent

Tapestry and Talent voter registration booth August 30th- September 1st.
This is San Jose’s oldest and largest street festival in downtown, which draws a crowd of 250,000 people. The festival includes 350 artists and crafts people, 4 entertainment stages, design for living, interactive alley (including a rock climbing wall and hang gliding simulator), and a creative zone with children’s activity.
Volunteers are needed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for a set up shift between 8:30- 10am and for 2 hour shifts between 10am-6pm.
