Santa Clara University College Democrats in conjunction with another on-campus club, Santa Clarans Involved in Socially Responsible Solutions (SCISRS), would like to invite you to attend a Middle East Policy Panel on Thursday, April 28 at 5pm at Santa Clara University in the Sobrato Commons. Professor William Stover of the Political Science Department (emphasis in International Relations), Professor Mary Hegland of the Anthropology Department, and Professor William Beeman of Brown University (who is also the Director of Brown’s Middle East Studies Program) will be participating as panelists. The Panel will seek to answer the question, "How will U.S. involvement in the Middle East ease or exacerbate conflict in the region in the next half-century?" The professors will bring their first-hand experience, extensive knowledge, and diverse perspectives to the discussion.
