Please join the celebration of the life and times of our remarkable friend Madge Overhouse, who died September 29 after a lengthy illness. The celebration will be on Saturday, October 16 at the IBEW Local 332 Union Hall. The address is 2125 Canoas Garden Avenue (at Almaden Road), San Jose. The program will begin at 2:00 PM.
Madge's extended family includes grassroots Democrats, members of organized labor, firefighters, Democratic candidates and elected officials, librarians, community arts and other non-profit leaders, friends who she kept in contact with for much of her 80 years, as well as a host of others who visited Madge to receive guidance from the Oracle of Santa Clara County.
After a short program we will have food and drink, as well as visit with old and new friends. If you have a dish you can bring, bring it. Just don't everyone bring the same thing.
